Workshops on Evaluating Secondary and Cumulative Impacts

The Federal Highway Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency held a 1-day workshop, "Methods for Evaluating Secondary and Cumulative Land Use Impacts" in February, 2003. The workshops were presented in Albany, NY; Hartford, CT; and Boston, MA. Links to the materials provided at the workshop are available on the FHWA Re:NEPA Community of Practice website. It includes information on the current state of practice and some of the available tools for evaluating potential land use changes related to transportation projects.
