TRB Waste Management Committee Accepting Presentations for 2007 Summer Workshop

The Transportation Research Board’s Committee on Waste Management and Resource Efficiency in Transportation (ADC60) is accepting presentations for its 2007 Summer Workshop on July 8-11, in Fort Worth, Texas. Highlights will include best practices and lessons learned in environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and waste management. Presentations will be made on July 9-10, and will be available on CD and posted on the committee website. Topics may include: product substitution and green designs; materials recycling and reuse; promoting the implementation and measuring the performance and benefits of environmental management systems in transportation organizations; advancements in environmental site assessment technologies and methodologies; brownfields programs; waste management; pollution prevention and waste minimization; and toxic and hazardous material tracking.
