Research Idea Scope

Document the current regulatory and policy environment on this topic and its implications for state DOTs. Review states’ experiences in mitigating for cumulative impacts. Identify best practices and lessons learned. Provide guidance to DOTs on how to navigate cumulative impacts issues.
