Research Idea Scope

NEPA is an ever evolving policy since it advocates process and evolving applied knowledge over outcomes. More and more, practitioners are experiencing the infusion of AI into the process and consequently and necessarily, has posed questions and challenges in the defensibility and objectivity of NEPA-supported decisions.

Urgency and Payoff

Investigating if AI poses unique challenges to the process and how to implement best practices around the interface can lead to more efficient and better engagement of the two worlds.
