THE BENEFIT IS THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN TRAFFIC NOISE, NOISE WALLS, NOISE REDUCTIONS, HIGHWAY TRAFFIC, AIR QUALITY, AND ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS. DOT NOISE AND AQ SPECIALISTS WILL GAIN KNOWLEDGE WE CURRENTLY DON’T HAVE AND CAN USE THIS NEW KNOWLEDGE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, ADDRESS NOISE AND AQ COMPLAINTS, AND IMPROVE CURRENT DOT NOISE AND AQ PROCESSES.
