Research Idea Scope

What are the best practices for succession and workforce planning in other to retain intuitional knowledge to ensure continuity in treatment of cultural resources for transportation projects. Workforce planning project – transportation & cultural resources, outsourcing, contracting, relations between groups, law, agencies. Process issues reframed as workforce issues.

Urgency and Payoff

With workforces nationwide loosing employees, there is an immediate need to start succession planning and having a method of ensuring institutional knowledge is retained so that lessons are needing to be relearnt. Saving money and time.
