Rural EV Infrastructure Virtual Peer Exchange

April 17 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT

The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) Research Foundation, in partnership with the Center for Environmental Excellence, invites you to join the rural electric vehicle infrastructure virtual peer exchange session on May 10, 1:00-3:00 p.m. ET.

This interactive peer exchange will introduce what EVs are, what EV transition means in rural regions, and how State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and rural organizations, such as Regional Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPOs or RPOs) or similar entities, are coordinating the efforts of incorporating EV infrastructure.

Learning objectives: The goal of this session is to understand how State DOTs and RTPOs are planning for EV infrastructure and their level of coordination with communities to incorporate EV charging stations. Attendees will exchange information with peers on working with partners to address EV challenges and opportunities in rural places.

Speakers: Andrea Noel, Tennessee Department of Transportation; Chase Milner, First Tennessee Development District
